Strike 2025

IAM Members. As usual, the company is demonstrating their incompetence. They have doubled up on dues after your Union clearly instructed them not to. We are currently working to correct this situation.

Reminder to all members who enrolled in any healthcare through Access Health CT. You MUST terminate your coverage either via your online account or through the call center. This includes Husky and Medicaid. You must do this before June 5 or risk a penalty from the IRS in January when you file your taxes.

The call center will be ready for all your calls.

Strike/Negotiations update 5/23/25:

Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings. Your elected negotiating committees worked hard around the clock to secure a new tentative agreement. At around 1:00 AM on Friday, we concluded our talks with the company. On Tuesday, our members will decide if we achieved our objectives around job security, wage security, and retirement security. This new proposal has significant changes/improvements in all three of these core areas. With that, it is very important for everyone to come to the Oakdale on Tuesday to listen to the proposed changes and to cast your vote. Until then, keep the lines strong! Thank you all for your tremendous support and dedication in our fight to secure a fair contract! IAM STRONG!!

A flyer will come out soon with full vote location and hours. Please look for it.

Strike/Negotiations update 5/22/25: Your negotiating committee is pushing hard at the table to get an agreement that we can bring back to the membership. We have also set aside Friday for additional discussions. With that, we have reserved the Oakdale for Tuesday in order to vote on a new agreement! Please, keep the lines strong!
